It rained all day today, the sky was dark and Mr Sun was nowhere in sight. But despite that, it was a little bit humid with a temperature of 55F. I find it a bit toasty, cz we’ve been having below 40 for the last few days and my body is starting to get used to it.
However, I took my son Clayton for a drive around town and went shopping for a little bit of stuff, after I dropped JJ off for school. We went to Weis first, and I found their price a little bit higher compare to Super Walmart at West Manchester, so I didnt bought much, just stuff that I really need. Then we went to Target, that was just a couple of blocks away. I took Clayton at the Toys area and observed his reaction. His eyes lit up, and grow bigger, as we go along aisle to aisle. And he starting to become uneasy, wanting to go down to grab a toy, specially when he saw the big blue ball. I reached it for him and he hugged it tight. I tried to take it away from him, but he fought for it and scream really loud. lol. he doesnt want to let go of the ball. I find it so cute! He love balls because he and his kuya and plop plop, plays throw and catch every night, so I let him have it. Its only a couple of bucks. lol.
.Anyway.. it was fun riding around with my little buddy. He didnt complain much, only one time when he dropped his ball on the floor of the car, and then I have to stop at the side of the road to get it for him coz if i did not… I might have a broken ear drums by now. lol =)
I think this was the effect of the time changed. It really changed my kids sleeping time. They sleep a little early from the normal time and wakes up really early in the morning, specially the little guy. I guess I have to change my sleeping habit too, sigh. It sure is getting harder to keep up with my guys. =) Anyway.. I just plop down on the couch with my laptop, check facebook, blog a little and close my eyes a bit while the little guy watched his favorite show. I hope tomorrow he will sleep a little longer… hehe
I bet all Filipinos are celebrating right now due to another victory of our People’s Champ Manny Pacquiao against Antonio Margarito by a unanimous decision. It was a pretty good fight, Antonio didn’t give up, even though he knows that he got no chance at Manny. He fought very hard and remain standing through the last round. I think he wants to prove to the people specially the people in Mexico that he is a true fighter, and wants to regain their trust from the previous scandal that he was in, which cause the suspension of his career for 1 year. He was a pretty tough opponent but was not fast enough to avoid Mannys blow by blow. In fact he was very slow, an easy target of Manny’s super cut punches. But All in all, it was a good fight. I am so proud at our Filipino fighter, despite all his achievements he remain down to earth, good at heart, and a true Gentleman. He have proven it in this fight. He was worried about Antonio Margarito’s cuts on his face, that if they will not stop the fight it might be the end of his career, so he kept on asking the referee to checked him out, but they didnt stop the fight. At the last round, Manny just took it easy because he doesnt want to destroy his opponent, and of course he already knows that he is the winner. He is truly a People’s CHamp! Congratulation Manny!! You made all Filipinos very proud of you!

After eating the pizza, I surprised him with this Scooby Doo cake.He loved it! He was so happy and excited to blow the candles. and of course the little guy was trying to blow also. lol
and my present for him is a book of Dr Seuss ‘The Grinch who stole Xmas’ and the Grinch himself. He was so so so Happy, he read it right away and cuddled the Grinch and sleep with him. I am so glad that he enjoyed his special day, even though its just us. We ate all the cake and now we got a tummy ache, for eating too much cake. lol.
kids grabbed their balls and kicked them all the way to the front yard.
And their Plop Plop joined in the fun, kicking the ball as hard as he can. =)
The little guy doesnt want to let go of his orange ball, and want to kick his big brothers ball too
They had their moment of fun, Thank God the Sun showed up for a few minutes. I know these coming days it would be gloomy, dreary, wet, cold and windy, saying that winter is coming. I sure dreaded that day. We are a bit prepared about it, got our tank filled and in a couple of days from now we will get woods for our stove and fireplace to burn in. Hope this coming winter wont be so bad like last year!
Today, time just went back to normal, yesterday was the last day of Daylight Saving Time.
I woke up pretty early, with a little bit of headache. I noticed the sun was already up at 7am. Yesterday it was still dark at 7 but today it was so bright outside. Clayton was already up also, but he was not making any sound, he was just laying still and playing with his stuff animals in his crib, poking their tummies. lol. When he saw me got up, he raised his arms right away, he wants me to get him. Afterward, he reached for his Can of Milk, tapping it with his little fist, that means only one thing, he is hungry. lol. After that I adjusted a few clocks, turning them an hour back. My cellphone and laptop don’t need to adjust because they change automatically. We don’t have wall clocks, usually I just look at my phone for time cause its more precise.
Anyhow, I better start going before the day ends, it will be dark soon before I knew it. The sun will start to set a bit early like 4:30pm, and at 5 it will be dark already. I will blog some more later. Right now.. I want to take the kids outside and enjoy the sun while we can. =)
Here are the trick or treaters!! lol
i know this post is kind of late. I had been so busy lately that I got no time to blog about our Halloween night. Well, here it is, I was dress as a cow girl, and my guys dressed as Sulley from Monsters Inc. and a Dalmation 103. lol. We just went to Town Mall, Westminster and did out trick or treat there coz its safer and less cold. There were so many people trick or treating. It was the first time, that I saw that mall full of people. Its always been empty during weekdays, even weekends! But last Sunday, the line was so long to get a lollipop or a sticker and after an hour, there were no more candies, and… there were still lots of people coming in the mall hoping that there still candies left. I should have thought that there will be lots of people there because thats the only Mall in that area. And the only mall that is close to us, that does trick or treating. But inspite all that, the kids had fun seeing other kids with their costumes and racing for candies. My little guy cant say the words trick or treat yet, so he just stared at the lady and wait for his candy, and later on sit on the floor, search the candy in his bag, and munch on it while others were waiting for their turn to get a candy. lol. i have to drag him to get out of the way. hehehe…
After all the trick or treating, I was so ready to eat a horse. Hubby took us to Texas RoadHouse. It was our first time there, I thought they only got Steaks but they got other stuff too, like this Grilled Pork Chop plus 2sides of your choice for only 9 bucks, 1/3 pounder Cheeseburger with French fries, and my sons favorite chicken tenders with apple sauce. Yum!! It was good.
I was not able to enjoy it that much coz the little guy keeps on squealing, grabbing, and squirming out of my grasp! They dont have high chair, only booster sit (no latch), so I was really having a hard time settling Clayton down. whew! that was a tough one. lol.
Anyhow, it turned out a fun night, kids enjoyed their candies when we got home, specially the ones that Katty gave them, it was all Hersheys. Im surprised they didnt complain for tummy ache, only a little hyper but later on got tired and fell asleep without brushing their teeth! lol.=)
I helped them brush their teeth the next day as soon as they woke up. 😉
