The Weather forecast this year was so unreliable, due to so many wrong forecast, I dont believe it anymore. When it poured yesterday, we were about to go out to have dinner. Good thing hubby is such a good driver, a weather like that doesnt bother him. But for me… it does! it makes me so so nervous! I would be like driving 20mph, but to hubby he can drive 45mph with the pouring snow. I so hope that there will be no more snows this coming days, and please!! let the flowers bloom! The forecast say its gonna rain/snow this week,hmm.. let see if it does….
I am so happy that I got this cute cubby from Target. At first, I was having second thoughts of purchasing it, because it might be junkie and chipped, and it was the cheapest that I could find online. Also hubby keeps on telling me to check it out first, that theres no sense in buying one if it will only last for a couple of days. To my surprised its beautiful, sturdy, and no chipped at all! Also, I love the color, fits perfect in our living room, just the right size, for all the toys. =)
I sure so glad that I bought it. I finally got the kids toys organize in those fabric baskets, and I dont have to worry about their mess coz its now easy to put them away. =) Im also glad that the little one got no interest in busting it, climbing on it, and pulling everything out! lol. So far he is doing very good. =)
thats my little guy, he loves being with his big brother. he follows JJ anywhere, and bug him on everything! lol. Im glad my kuya just let him. =)
Im so proud of my boys, hope they will always get along until they get older.
As soon as we got home, we put it together. I helped him out wrapping the box with the gold tissue paper and then I let him design it afterward.
He did pretty good for a 6yr old kid. Below is his Leprechaun Trap.
And heres my very proud boy, showing off his Leprechaun Trap.
oh i forgot to mention, we were up early today to get some sticks outside for the ladder. Jian said, leprechauns like to climb so he made him a ladder. =)
The kids and I just stayed indoor all day, watch TV, do some chores and other stuff to keep them entertained. To keep them entertain is easy for these kids, seems like they love everything what their mom does for them. =)
Rain is good in this time of the year cause it helps the plants to grow from a long winter hibernation, and giving new life to all living creatures.
Slowly everything will sprung back to life as Spring approaches.
It sure nice to see green stuff once again,
and not for long our place will be filled with blooming flowers, flying bugs, and crawling vines;
which reminds me not to lose hope and always have faith in Him,
cause the Sun always shines after the rain. I just hope it will not rain for the rest of the week or else it would be very crappy. hehehe
No wonder I didnt see him right away. =)
He probably got tired after digging in the boxes of toys. lol. so precious. =)
But before I tell you about it, I want to share my experienced in finding the place. Well, it was my first time to drive to Harrisburg by myself, getting there was easy, but finding where to park was a pain. I found the building right away, and asked the traffic control lady where I could park. It was the weirdest thing ever because instead of telling me that the parking area is just at the back… she told me to go left on the light and go left on the next light, and go left again, then it will take you to the parking space. Guess what?? I followed her directions and lead me to the back road and took me to a narrow road, that has some very sharp turns! whoah! i was so pissed and ready to give up, because it lead me back to where I started. I was confused.. what the h*ll? This time, I follow my instinct, and made a U-turn, and turned on the corner. and I was right!! the one that Im over looking at is the parking area. geez!! whats wrong with that traffic control lady. lol. She could have pointed her finger the parking area. it was crazy huh?
We got there 30mins late. Kids are starting to feel so restless and uneasy, specially JJ, who keeps on asking me… are we there yet? lol.
Well, thats for finding the place and the parking area.
About the Fair, it was pretty decent. As what I have expected, it was jammed full of people. The line was kinda a quarter mile long, but it was moving fast. The kids gets free admission, so it was a good deal for me. I only pay 12$ for my fare. The Commerford Zoo had some really cool animals, different kinds of cows, goats, zebra, elephants, camel, porcupine, rabbits, baby animals, miniature horses, birds, and other critters. What we love best was petting the animals and feeding them. It was really cool! The kids were having a blast, specially JJ who loves animals so much. I bet if hubby was with us that time, he would really enjoy it too. Inside was a little bit crowded but it was okay, its not that difficult to see and pet the animals. There were also rides and games for the kids, face painting, animal rides, and photo takings. The kids had their rides but I didnt let them ride the animals, to avoid accidents. We’ll never know one of the elephants might go berserk, and you know they dont like it being captive like that, and staying in a small space. Anyhow.. i would like to share some of our pix,

this so looks like the watch that I bought in Taiwan and lost it here in US. i had been looking for the same kind online and found this one in Ebay for 95$. too expensive for my pocket, but i so badly want it. i wonder if hubby will let me have this. =(
I so missed my old watch, i felt so sad when i lost it somewhere, maybe in one of those hotels that we stayed in while we went out of town. up to now im still grieving for it(ga danghag man gud ba). I lost it 2years ago i think…it sounds crazy but i was so in love with that watch. and now i want another one! lol. oh hubby hubby hubby… pretty pleazz…..hehe shhh…
I had a nice walked today around our yard, along with my little one. The weather is just perfect, the sun was up, and the ground is almost dry, just a little damp. There are still a little pile of snow on the ground but its evaporating fast. Still a bit chilly but very nice, specially if the sun is heating your skin and the smell of fresh air is just heaven here in the country.
The little guy was running around the yard, as fast as he could, exploring the ground, picking stuff, collecting dried walnuts and acorns and wanting to go to the creek, so I have to watch him closely, make sure he will not go there, the current is still pretty fast for him =)
ANyhow, Here are some photos to share..
