Its another wet, cold, foggy morning here in the East Coast. Looking outside is making me feel depressed because I cant take my kids outside to play. Its been like this since yesterday all day, I hope it will shine up in a few days, let our ground dry so we can enjoy autumn and its vibrant colors. Im also hoping that the weather forecast for next week is not true. 🙁 Mr Accu weather said that its gonna be showers for whole week next week. Bummer! I was planning to take my kids to Skyline Drive in Virginia. It will be no fun to go there now, cause its gonna be wet, soggy and muddy. =( Why does it have to be like this when we got plans already!! The weather is such a party pooper. lol. Anyhow.. Im crossing my fingers that the rain will go away and just come back on winter season. 🙂
I woke up pretty early today, earlier than my usual time. I got up and did a few stretches before I will start my day right. Its quite a chilly morning, the house is so quite, very peaceful when everybody is still asleep. I have the chance to do my stuff, get on the internet, and check on some latest updates of this and that. It was quite wonderful. 🙂
Anyhow, even though I got up early, my 1st grader almost missed his school van. It was my fault because I enjoyed so much of being a time of myself that I forgot that its time to wake him up. lol. Good thing I dont have to cooked his lunch to pack ,because I already cooked last night. All I will do is to warm it up and its ready. I am also glad that his van drives down here in our driveway, if my son is not up front by the gate. I thank the driver for that. She is such a sweet lady. 🙂
By the way.. hubby asked me last night if I could wake him up around 8-9am. Well, its already 8am, I better get his ass up before he gets grouchy. hehe
Woke up a little bit later today than my usual time, even though I slept early last night with my little ones. I put them to bed early last night cause Im planning to go to church this morning, hoping that I would be up early today. To my dismay, my sleeping hours extended to 9am. =( bad mommy. Kids are already awake, watching TV, and waiting for their breakfast. As for me, trying to blog first, while waiting for the hotdogs, eggs and rice to cook. 🙂 I better get hurry cause in a few minutes from now, we need to zoom to make it to Church. I just hope that my little one will stay quite even just in an hour, so I can relax and listen to the priest.
This blog is a personal family blog that I created on March 2010.
The content of this blog is all about our life here in the East Coast, our experiences as an average Phil-American family, our travels, and our adventure in Parenting. I am happy to share all these things to everybody, specially to my family who are living in the Philippines, so they may know what its really like to live here in the countryside of the East Coast, and that this country is not really milk and honey that we all thought. Everybody works hard in order to survive and to provide for our kids and family.
Because of that, this blog is now accepting any forms of compensations, such as advertising, sponsorship, and paid reviews, which are all written by me, based on my honest opinions, researched and experiences.
THank You and have a great Day!

Time fly so fast, I didnt even realize that its October already, until I felt the cold breeze yesterday when my kids and I went to the Mall to have a little bit of fun and fall shopping. The temperature dropped down so drastically, that it gave me a slight headache. I went back to the house to put extra clothes on and get jackets for the kids to keep them warm and toasty. It was indeed very chilly. I hope it will warm up a little bit so we can do apple picking and pumpkin picking later in a couple of days from now. Its hard to do all these stuff if its so chilly and and the same time windy. It would be hard for the kids.
Anyhow, even though the kids have their own pumpkins already, picked from their very own pumpkin patch, I still wanna go pumpkin picking, so we will have more pumpkins to carve for the coming Halloween, and so we will have a little bit of fun before.
Well..Here they are with their cute pumpkins. I hope these pumpkins will last until the end of October. Its starting to harden, since we keep them inside the house. If we put it outside it will soften and get mushy. As you can see the photo below, thats a picture of happy faces, very proud with their harvest.
