Our utility bills for this past few months has went sky rocket, that its so unbelievable. My husband has been working really hard night and day, just to get ahead, in order to save something for the future, and for the unexpected emergencies and troubles, that will come along. And as a stay at home mom, its my duty to help him with all these responsibilities. All I can do, is to lower our bills as much as I can, such as gas usage, and power consumptions. I should search the internet for better options, like maybe another company that will charge a little bit less, like the Verde Energy USA that catered the ct electricity. I wish we got something like that here in our location, so we can save a few dollars every month. That few dollars would be a big help, instead of paying so much in our bills, we will save it for our kids education funds.
Last weekend, we went to Virginia to visit Luray Caverns ones again for our eldest bday treat. He had been bugging us to go there for a long time, cause he saw my pictures with hubby in the cave when we went there 4years ago, when we dont have the kids yet. At that time, my eldest was still in Philippines, so he was not able to come with us.
Anyhow, it was a 3hours ride from our home to Luray. We had fun looking at the mountains with its glorious fall colors, beautiful farm lands, rock formations along the way, and the beautiful valley of Shenandoah. Indeed, it was a fun 3hours ride. I didnt hear much complains from the backseat, but there was one who keeps on saying.. are we there yet? He was just so excited to see one of the magnificent creations of God 😉
Below are our photos inside the cave.
My eldest was so excited to go inside the cave, that is located under this big house. The Limair Santarium used to stand here a long time ago, and was the first air-conditioned home in America by installing a shaft into a cavern chamber which was connected to the house above. But it got burned down in 1900s and they rebuilt it in this brick building. Quite interesting stuff there huh? You can read its history and how was it discovered here..Luray
Photo above shows the inside of the cave. As you can see people were walking down below, thats how big this cave is. We were supposed to be in that group but we decided to stay behind so we can enjoy the beauty of nature. Its an hour tour but we were spelunking, so it end up like 2hours tour. 😀
us inside the cave.
My Fellow spelunkers are enjoying the view
thats my very handsome hubby and little kano, walking along the walked way. No touching please. Its not allowed to touch the formations because your hands have a certain chemical that will stop it from growing.
The grand stalacpipe organ located in the cathedral. Its the worlds largest musical instrument. Stalactites covering 3 1/2 acres of the surrounding caverns produce tones of symphonic quality when electronically tapped by rubber-tipped mallets. This one-of-a-kind instrument was conceived by Mr. Leland W. Sprinkle of Springfield, Virginia, a mathematician and electronics scientist at the Pentagon. –Luray Caverns
And yours truly… enjoying the view from the house where the cave is located. Behind me is the tower of the garden Maze. I wanted to go down there, but when we got out from the Car and Carriage museum, it was already dark, and our tummy was also growling for food, so we head to town and had a great dinner at the Cracker Barrel.
It was a fun day trip. We got home so late already. Three hungry cats were so happy to see us. =)

I watch my little one fell asleep on the couch in the living room. He look so peaceful and so quite. I took the chance to cut his nails, comb his hair and clean his face. He didnt even make a slightest move while Im cleaning him up. He is sound asleep. He must be so tired from all that jumping and running around the house, and I thought he would never get tired. lol.
He is such a sweet bundle. I just cant help myself to feel emotional all of a sudden. He is so big now, soon enough he will be wiggling out of my grasp and want to do something on his own, without mommys help. It makes me sad thinking of it, but he will always be a baby to me, no matter what.
Anyhow, he sure has some pretty lashes, dont they? I wish my lashes are as pretty as those. I might need some best eyelash growth product in order to have that full eyelashes again, that I used to have when I was little. Oh well, I should be happy and grateful of what I have, but if given the chance, I would definitely try some products. 🙂
It was a fine day for trick or treating at The Outlet Shoppe in Gettysburg, PA. My kiddos were able to gathered a lot of candies from all the stores that participated Halloween. They had so much fun saying trick or treat and seeing other kids with their costume, while mommy was busy looking around for sales and great deals in every store we went to. 😀 Where is Daddy? well he is busy too.. busy pushing the stroller. hahaha. =)

Our LIGHTed Jack o Lanterns, carved by me of course. These were the pumpkins that my eldest son harvested a couple of months ago, from his pumpkin patch that he planted on our backyard last Spring Season. His pumpkin patch was able to produce 4 pumpkins, which is just right for us. We kept it inside the house, so it wont get any moisture inside that would cause it to soften and rot. And so that it will last till Halloween. When I open it up last Sunday, it was still fresh and perfect to carved. As for the faces, I just copy it from online. I believe I did a pretty good job in carving them. 🙂
Anyhow, below is US with our pumpkins. Photo was taken after trick or treating. If you notice the little guy is busy trying to open his lollipop. =D
I’m starting to have winter dry sky. I could feel my face and my lips chapping every time I touched it. And my arms and legs are starting to get snake skin, due the temperature here in the house. I better start putting lotion everyday, and maybe try the egyptian magic that I saw online. They say it works like magic, cause it will really rejuvenate your skin specially in this cold season. Hoping to get one soon, cause I really need it!
I had the chanced to visit JJs school yesterday and witnessed what they usually do in the morning. I was so happy to see my son doing so good in school. Its just right to show him my support and being there for him. It was so precious seeing his face lit up when he saw me in the classroom. I bet he was surprised. They were in a group doing some activity, looking for words that starts with a certain letter that was assigned to them. I believed he did a pretty good job, and he was able to keep up with the rest of the students. He even raised his hand to answer and was able to answer the question. I am so proud of him.
Hubby and I were talking about securing our future, specially for our kids future, because with whats happening in the world right now, you can never tell whats gonna happen. Life insurance so far is the best option for us. I know we should have decided to get one along time ago, since the kids are getting older, and hubby and I are not getting any younger. Right now, we are still doing a lot of reading and researching online on which company that is more secured and have everything what we need, and offers immediate annuities. I think we need this immediate annuities for more security in the future. It would surely help a lot for the kids when they go to college, then hubby and I will not have to worry about it anymore.
I just realized that its the month of November already. Wow, time flew so fast, makes me wonder what happened to the rest of the days of October. Geez, if I didnt looked up the calendar, I woudnt have known. It reminds me of my Mom’s birthday tomorrow, she is gonna be 60 I think. I had been planning to send her a present, but I was so busy that I never got into it. Maybe I will just send her a few cash and a pretty birthday card with a Self-inking Stamps from Invitationbox.com. Its gonna be pass her birthday when she gets it, thats okay, its better to be late than never right? I hope she will like it. Anyhow, I better take October off from our Calendar to make way for November, so that I will not be wondering in the future where the days of November went. 😀
