Our weekend was extra fun, I took my kids to Lowes, a store that sells Appliances, Tools, Hardware, Paints, and other Home Improvement thingamajigs. They had this special activity called Build and Grow Clinic for kids and adults, its a free workshop, that happens like twice a month, they give out projects that are made of wood for kids to make. Its a pretty cool activity.  It was our first time to join last Saturday, and my kids had a blast. If you want join this activity, you need to register first in this website http://www.lowesbuildandgrow.com/pages/default.aspx . In there website, you will see the future project for this month, all you have to do is type in your zipcode to see if there is a Lowes store in your area, and if there is still an available slot for that project.

This activity is really cool and so much fun for the kids. Its totally free, also the goggles, and aprons. Not only that, when you are done with your project, you will get a certificate and a special badge for finishing it. Check out my boys below, so busy doing their project.PhotobucketAren’t they the cutest? Showing the finished product : The Firetruck
