photo IMG_4331_zpsd1918a8b.jpgHere are a few goodies thatΒ  my kids and I had been munching since we arrived here in Davao. As I mentioned in my previous post, we were greeted with the scent of Durian fruit and mangoes upon entering Lolo and Lola’s house. My kids didn’t find the Durian attractive enough for their liking, so lucky me I ate it all by myself. As you can see, I don’t have a photo of the Durian, because I munched it all right away. πŸ˜€

Anyhow, I woke up this morning around 6:30am hearing the sound from outside the house. A man was shouting… Ay!!! biko… Ay… suman!!!(Philippine delicacies) I got up right away and asked my dad to call the man and buy some for me. He said that he will just buy suman(sticky rice) from the other place where he usually buy because it is much tastier their. I was really craving and want some right away. I waited and my wait was worth it. It was indeed really good! It was the tastiest suman(sticky rice) that I ever tasted. My dad also bought Tikoy and more Mangoes for my mom and the little guys. My buddies love the mangoes so much that they could eat 3 in one sitting. The mangoes here in Davao are sure far better than in US. Oh how I wish I can bring some to US for hubby, cause he really loves them too.
